Ghosts Overboard for
Maemo Ghosts Overboard is a game for maemo5 (in practise Nokia's N900 device). A new bugfix release (0.2.1) is now available. The previous release (0.2.0) introduced new levels, octopuses and optional vibration effects.
The story & playing
A group of ghosts was sailing with their ghost ship when a storm hit
them. The ghosts fell overboard and were scattered across the nearby
waters. It is now your task to rescue them. The ghost ship
is controlled by tilting the device. Pick up the ghosts and avoid the
rocks and octopuses. If the ship hits a rock or an octopus, all ghosts in it will fall
overboard again. Download
You can install Ghosts Overboard on your N900 from the extras-devel repository. However, as usual for extras-devel, the game is not fully tested and not necessarily safe. Battery drainage is the most likely problem to occur. It is not recommended to leave it on foreground without being paused after playing for long time periods. Remember to close the extras-devel repository after installing to avoid unwanted updating of your applications to development versions.
